Submission Guidelines

Singing River publishes the following genres: creative non-fiction, history, biography, children's literature, essay collections, biography, poetic prose, poetry, music, and fiction - drama and mystery (excluding lewd or pornographic materials). If you believe you would be a good fit for our publishing house, we welcome your submission.

Please submit a sample chapter of 20-30 pages in paper form. Be sure to include your name, address, telephone number, email address, and a self-addressed, stamped return envelope to:

Unfortunately, we cannot accept fax queries or electronic submissions at this time.

Upon your submission, the following steps will occur:

• The work is reviewed and SRP responds, usually within six weeks, using your enclosed envelope. If your work meets our publishing standards, we will call and ask that a complete manuscript be sent for further review.
• You submit your entire manuscript in paper format. (You may include a self-addressed postcard if you would like to know if we received the manuscript.) Also include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with adequate postage for the return of your manuscript.
• The manuscript is reviewed, with owner Chris Moroni making the final decision on whether or not to accept the author's work. This process can take about two to four months. We will contact you by phone call, e-mail, or letter to let you know the results and the next steps to be taken.
