How to use this book:  A Crew of Two Presents:  this educational tool offers interaction between readers and relevant subject matter, encourages a bond of reading with a partner and establishes a comfort level, shared enthusiastic accomplishment and a passion for reading.  The concept implements a two page system whereby the "partner" (teacher, parent, grandparent, friend) of the beginner reader reads aloud on the left page utilizing a script incorporating an advanced vocabulary within the story line.  The secondary reader continues reading the story on her/his right page with a simpler text and more elementary and identifiable vocabulary.  At any time the partner reader can clarify and explain the story and vocabulary on either page.  Open communication is key. A non-threatening, non-judgmental reading environment is crucial for learning and for a love of reading to develop.
